How to . . . prompts provide a starting point for effective communications

Continuing our series of useful prompts and checklists, editorialresources.co.uk has published three new practical guides to producing publications:

Each prompt takes you through the basics of planning, preparing, producing and distributing specific documents and provides hints on everything from budgeting to distribution.

The prompts are available as web pages or as downloadable PDF files, which can be printed on to A4 paper. The PDF versions provide spaces for you to jot down your own notes when specifying print or calculating costs.

They are aimed at anyone needing to produce business documents and publications, from career starters to communication managers looking to bring production in-house.

They also reflect the approach editorialresources.co.uk adopts when managing communications projects. For example, there is a lot more to producing a sales letter than writing the text: targeting, distribution lists, printing, fulfilment and distribution.

Our approach takes all of this into account to produce professional and effective communications.
